a short break from school

FINALLY! I found the time to update this blog of mine.

Yes, I'm back, and as you noticed, I removed the sidebar. I realized that the sidebar's messing up my blog. (or so I think? or it might be that i really have a bad case of OCD now, or whatever.) Anyhow, a break from school! That's what I want to talk about now. It's Founder's Week! We had an opening ceremony last Sunday. There was the torch parade, in which I participated since the school's marching band is there to play (I play the trumpet, just so you know. :P) SU Mage participated in the torch parade as well. SU MAGE, by the way stands for Silliman University Manga, Anime, Gaming Eccentrics. It's the organization in our school where the members are into, manga, anime and games. Obviously.. :P And I'm a part of it, although I'm not that active.

Nothing significant has happened yet for the last 3 days, (although it was my boyfriend and I's monthsary last Monday, August 23). I have yet to enjoy the rest of the Founder's week. Last year I didn't really enjoy it that much, but this year's totally different since I've got more friends to hang-out with. There was the plan for a Horror night. It's like a tradition for my group of friends to have one night during the Founder's week just having a marathon of horror, suspense, and thriller movies. But when I think about it, I don't think I'd actually last, even just for the first movie. I'm such a scaredy-cat. REALLY.

For now, what I decided to do for the rest of the week is just download loads of anime and manga and just splurge on that. And maybe do a bit of studying for my Music Theory and Music History, and also, practice for solfeggio and conducting.

I hope I'll enjoy the rest of the week. :)
